IWBAT:
. Identify how the performers in the video use their bodies to create objects in a Mime performance.
. Understand the difference between using Sound Effects and using Music, in a mime performance; I can identify examples of both, from the Music and Mime Performance.
Rehearsal of our mime about Birthday Parties
We all collaborated in deciding who will play the various listed characters in our mime , although some of our group members were not cooperating well on what we should do in our scene .We can improve by listening to each others ideas and working on our thinking skills, as there were only few people giving ideas. We were to be trying creative by imagining all our props since we could not use any real props. We pretended there was a table , cups and food. We also tried to work hard on our acting skills through facial expressions. I think we tried our best to think out of the box and hopefully next time we will do better.
Thinking about how to improve our mime
We brainstormed a lot to improvise in a better way. We all were listening to each others ideas for any more improvements that can be made . We thought of many great ideas which we used in our mime . We kept the good ideas and discarded the boring ideas. After watching the mime video,we could visualize how to improvise on our props in the simplest ways.We were creative by making sure everything looked as realistic as possible and improvised in every possible way.
